If you want to manage a team of your own, it's never too early to get started, and the league's administrators will provide you with guidance. All players become free agents at the end of the season. This rule allows everyone his own choice of team each season, and it fosters friendships throughout the league. It also facilitates a start-up team, consisting of a core of players, in rounding out its roster.
Each team operates independently in its business matters. A prospective player should budget between $130 and $150 for the season (a $20 league registration fee, due the first time that the player steps on the field), plus team fees which vary for the player's share of the team game costs, uniforms, etc.
